Engineers who have built the equipment, not just specified it

AgTech Integrators has been designing and building facility infrastructure since 2012. We sit in an unusual spot: a mechanical and process engineering practice that also programs the controls and builds the panels, working across controlled environment agriculture, cannabis cultivation and heavy industry.

Where our engineering comes from

The bench behind this firm is heavy industry. Two decades across fluid handling, spray and nozzle systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, specialty tubing, ductile iron pipe and railcar valve manufacturing. Multi-discipline capital projects into the multi-million dollar range, teams of five to seven engineers, and support for manufacturing plants across the United States. That work carries codes with it, and we design to them: ASME B31.3 and B31.1, Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, API 660 and 661, and the applicable NFPA, OSHA and ANSI requirements.

It also carries a habit of building things that have to run. Purpose-built process machinery, PLC-controlled testing and actuation equipment, and production systems installed into live plants where downtime is measured in money. Credentials include graduate-level project management training alongside mechanical engineering, and a granted patent in fabricated tube technology.

How that applies to a grow facility

A cultivation room is a process. It has fluid systems, heat and moisture loads, power distribution, instrumentation and a control philosophy, and it fails for the same reasons a plant does: something was sized on a rule of thumb, or two vendors each assumed the other owned the interface. We approach a greenhouse or a vertical farm the way we approach a process line, and we own the mechanical, electrical and controls scope together so there is no interface to fall through.

How we work

One scope, one team

Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls under one contract, so the drawing set and the control philosophy agree with each other.

Designed to code

Drawings produced to the standards your jurisdiction enforces, with PE stamps coordinated in the state your project is permitted in.

Built, not just drawn

Control panels, operator stations and harnesses fabricated to the drawings we produce, including UL 508A through our partner shops.
