Process machinery, controls integration and custom panels
Our engineering bench comes out of heavy industry: fluid handling, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, piping and pressure equipment, and PLC-controlled production machinery designed, built and commissioned inside working plants. We bring that same discipline to every project we take.
Process and machine design
- Fluid systems. Pump, nozzle and spray system design, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and system optimization with pumps run at best efficiency point.
- Piping, tanks and pressure equipment. Design to ASME B31.3 and B31.1 and Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, with API 660 and 661 exchanger work where the process calls for it.
- Production machinery. Purpose-built process, wash, handling and test equipment designed from concept through installation.
- Analysis and detailing. FEA, CFD, DFMEA and GD&T, with drawing sets produced in AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo and SolidWorks.
Controls and automation
- PLC and HMI programming. For production machinery, actuation and pressure-testing equipment, and process skids.
- SCADA integration. Supervisory control, trending and alarm management across a line or a plant.
- Retrofits. Bringing legacy equipment onto current controls without replacing machinery that still has life in it.
Power and panels
- Custom control panels. Operator stations designed around the way your operators actually run the equipment.
- Motor control centers. For heavy rotating and process equipment.
- Protective relay panels. Engineered to isolate faults and keep the rest of the plant up.
- Cable and wire harnesses. Built to drawing for repeatable field installation.
- Listing requirements. Panels built to your project's requirements, including UL 508A through our partner fabrication shops.
Capital projects, managed
Our people have led multi-discipline capital projects into the multi-million dollar range, managing scope, estimates, code review, drawing checks, vendors and schedule, and supporting manufacturing sites across the country. Work is done to the applicable OSHA, ANSI and NFPA requirements, including NFPA 70, and LEAN and continuous improvement practice is how we approach layout and throughput rather than a line on a brochure.
